How to use and maintain

• Mechanism of action: The sensor monitors the temperature of the air coming out of the heater. If other control systems (such as the main thermostat) fail to regulate the temperature, this switch intervenes to cut off the electrical path immediately.

• When will the replacement take place?

  • Sudden heating stop: If the dryer is rotating but there is no heat.

  • Discontinuity: When testing a piece with a multimeter (Multimeter), it should give a "continuity" (Closed) reading. If the circuit is open, it means that the part is damaged and needs to be replaced.

  • Combustion of connected fuse: This switch is often damaged in conjunction with "thermal fuse" (Thermal Fuse) as a result of airway obstruction.
