1. Part integrity check:

• Continuity check: use a multimeter (Multimeter) to test contact points. The switch must close the circuit (give continuity) at any on position, and open it completely at off position (OFF).

• Check internal contact points: if the heater is always running at "maximum" heat regardless of whether the switch is set, this often means that the "contact points" (Contacts) inside the switch have coalesced (Stuck) due to heat or a high current, requiring immediate replacement.

2. Installation instructions:

• Safety: The power must be disconnected from the stove before touching any wires.

• Technical documentation: due to the multiple terminals on this model (2500W), connections must be photographed accurately before jaw. Placing one wire in the wrong place may damage the new switch immediately after turning it on or burn out the electrical circuit.

• Check connections (Terminals): make sure that the ends of the wires that will connect to the switch are not oxidized or burned. If charred, the damaged end must be cut and a new, clean "visha" (Terminal Connector) installed to ensure high current delivery without spark.
