How to use and maintain

1. When should I replace?

• Charring: if you notice blackening or charring in the porcelain material or in the internal metal contacts.

• Looseness: if the socket becomes unable to securely hold the heater legs, resulting in the heater "tilting" or poor electrical contact.

• Spark (Arcing): hearing a "cracking" sound or seeing a spark when the eye is turned on, indicating corrosion in the internal metal contacts.

2. Installation instructions:

• Safety: completely disconnect the power from the stove before starting.

• Remove the old: Loosen the nut or screw securing the socket from under the stove surface. Disconnect the wires, taking into account the connection position.

• New installation: Insert the new socket into the designated hole and secure it tightly.

• Wiring: Use electrical connectors (Wire Nuts) suitable for high heat (ceramic) if the socket comes with built-in wires, and make sure the connections are tight to prevent an electrical spark.

• Heater test: after installing the socket, insert the legs of the new or clean heater and make sure it is completely stable in a horizontal position.
