ORIGINAL WE49X20697 GE DRYER REPAIR KIT

Technical specifications:

• Compatibility: This kit is an original spare part (OEM) of GE (General Electric). Designed specifically for a wide range of labeled clothes dryers GE، Hotpoint، وRCA.

• Function: This kit is the "one-stop solution" to most common mechanical problems in the dryer. Instead of replacing individual parts, this kit provides all the essential components that wear out over time and cause noise or stopping rotation.

• Set Contents:

  • Dryer belt (Drive Belt): The belt responsible for rotating the drum.

  • Dish Support Rollers (Drum Support Rollers): Usually 4 rollers to ensure the drum rotates smoothly.

  • Traffic tension pulley (Idler Pulley): To maintain proper walking tension and prevent slipping.

  • Installation tools: Rings, clips, and small lubricants for the axles to ensure long-lasting operation.

How to use:

• Mechanism of action: These components work together to reduce friction. The support rollers carry the weight of the drum, while the motor via the belt and tensioner moves it.

• Placement: It is recommended to replace the entire kit when you note:

  • Loud noise: Sounds of "squeaking", "knocking", or "buzzing" as the pot rotates.

  • Component damage: When disassembling the dryer for maintenance, you will often find the rollers corroded or the belt cracked.

  • Rotation stop: If the flow is interrupted or the pulleys are worn to the point of preventing the drum from rotating.
