ORIGINAL GE BELT WE12M29 USA

Technical specifications:

• Part type: Clothes dryer drive belt (Dryer Drive Belt).

• Compatibility: original piece WE12M29 Designed for clothes dryers from GE (General Electric) And some compatible models from affiliated brands such as Hotpoint and RCA.

• Design: Multi-groove belt (Multi-Ribbed / V-Belt) designed to transmit motion from motor to drum (Drum).

• specifications: It features high flexibility and high tensile strength to withstand continuous rotation under the weight of wet clothes, with high heat resistance inside the dryer body.

• source: The "USA" label is indicative of the Native American manufacturing standards adopted for this class of devices.

Common uses:

• Power transfer: The belt is the mechanical element responsible for converting the rotation of the motor shaft into a circular rotation of the drum for turning clothes.

• Maintaining balance: Provide the necessary tension to ensure that the drum does not slip during dryer operation.

• Maintenance and repair: It is replaced immediately in the following cases:

  • Stop the suit: The motor is running and making noise but the drum is stationary and not rotating (conclusive evidence of a belt failure).

  • Constant squeaking sound: A loud friction sound is heard during start-up, which may indicate belt stretching or wear.

  • Visual inspection: Cracks, wear on the inner rubber ribs, or loss of the belt's natural elasticity.

  • Poor rotation: The pot rotates slowly or stops when loaded with heavy pieces of clothing (such as blankets or large towels).
