الوظيفة: يعمل الريلاي كمفتاح أوتوماتيكي؛ فهو يمرر تياراً عالياً لملف البدء (Start Winding) في الضاغط لمدة ثوانٍ معدودة لبدئه، ثم يفصل تلقائياً بمجرد وصول الضاغط لسرعته التشغيلية، ليترك المحرك يعمل على ملف التشغيل (Run Winding) فقط.

التصميم: يتميز بتصميمه المدمج الذي يحتوي على مدخلات كهربائية (Terminals) مرنة لتناسب مختلف أحجام الضواغط، وهو مصمم ليتم تركيبه مباشرة على دبابيس الضاغط (Compressor Pins).

متى يتم الاستبدال:

الضاغط يصدر صوتاً “طقطقة”: سماع صوت “تكة” (Click) كل دقيقة أو دقيقتين دون أن يعمل الضاغط.

توقف التبريد: الثلاجة لا تبرد نهائياً والمحرك لا يعمل.

ارتفاع حرارة الضاغط: إذا كان الضاغط ساخناً جداً عند لمسه، فقد يكون الريلاي تالفاً ولا يفصل، مما يسبب سحب تيار كهربائي مستمر.

رائحة حريق: وجود رائحة بلاستيك محترق صادرة من منطقة الضاغط في خلفية الثلاجة.
