نوع القطعة: صمام أمان حراري أحادي الاستخدام (One-time Thermal Fuse).

الوظيفة التقنية: حماية المجفف من “الحرارة الزائدة” (Overheating). إذا وصلت حرارة المجفف إلى مستوى خطير نتيجة انسداد فتحة التهوية (Vent) أو عطل في الثرموستات، يقوم الصمام بقطع الدائرة الكهربائية نهائياً عن المحرك أو السخان لمنع نشوب حريق.

آلية العمل: يحتوي على عنصر داخلي ينصهر عند درجة حرارة معينة (محددة من قبل المصنع)، مما يؤدي لفتح الدائرة الكهربائية للأبد.

التوافق: يُعد هذا الصمام قياسياً في معظم مجففات Whirlpool, Kenmore, Maytag, وKitchenAid.
طرق الاستخدام والصيانة
1. متى يجب استبداله؟

توقف كامل عن العمل: إذا كان المجفف لا يعمل (لا يدور ولا يسخن) نهائياً عند الضغط على زر التشغيل.

فحص الاستمرارية: ملاحظة هامة: هذا الصمام يعمل بنظام “الاستمرارية” (Continuity). إذا قمت بفحصه بالملتيميتر ولم يظهر أي استمرارية (قراءة ما لا نهاية OL)، فالصمام تالف ويجب استبداله. لا تحاول أبداً تجاوز الصمام (Bypass) بسلك مباشر، فهذا إجراء خطر جداً ويؤدي إلى حرائق.
2. إرشادات التركيب:

إجراء السلامة: افصل التيار الكهربائي بالكامل عن المجفف قبل البدء.

الوصول للصمام: غالباً ما يوجد الصمام مثبتاً مباشرة على غلاف “منفاخ الهواء” (Blower Housing) أو بالقرب من مجموعة التسخين في الجزء الخلفي السفلي للمجفف.

الاستبدال: افصل الأسلاك المتصلة بالصمام، فك برغي التثبيت، ثم قم بتركيب الصمام الجديد. الأسلاك عادةً ما تُركب بنظام “الكبس” (Spade connectors).

السبب الجذري: هذه أهم نقطة: لا تقم بتركيب الصمام الجديد قبل التأكد من نظافة فتحة التهوية الخارجية (Vent Pipe) والفلتر (Lint Filter). إذا كان مسار الهواء مسدوداً بالألياف (Lint)، سيحترق الصمام الجديد خلال دقائق من تشغيله.
