1. When should I replace?

• Signs of damage: any blackening (charring), melting of the ceramic material, or corrosion of the metal clamps inside the holes.

• Heater looseness: If the heater tilts or does not stay in place, it means that the metal clamps inside the socket have lost their flexibility (expansion), causing poor conductivity and electrical spark (Arcing).

• Frequent malfunctions: if the heater is not working even though its cord is intact, the fault is often a loss of contact inside this socket.

• Safety: completely disconnect the power about the stove before touching any part.
