w10780045 whirlpool Suspension USA

Technical specifications:

• Function: Absorbs vibrations caused by the weight of clothes while the drum is rotating at high speed, and prevents the drum from colliding with the outer structure of the washing machine.

• Compatibility: Original kit (OEM) compatible with many Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore, and Amana washing machines.

• components: The kit usually includes the springs (Springs) and fasteners (Damper pads) needed to restore the washer's balance.

• source: American Made (USA).

How to use and maintain

• Mechanism of action: These springs suspend the wash basin from the superstructure or support it from below, allowing the drum to move freely to absorb shock during unbalanced load distribution.

• When will the replacement take place?

  1. Violent vibration: The washing machine "moves out of place" or vibrates violently during the spin cycle.

  2. Collision noise: Hearing a strong metal impact sound (knocking) inside the washing machine when the turning begins.

  3. Error codes: An error code related to laundry balance (Unbalanced Load) appears frequently even though the clothes are distributed correctly.

  4. drum Inclination: Note that the washing machine drum is tilted and not in a flat position inside the lid.

• Installation tips:

  • Safety: must Turn off the power and close the water source before starting.

  • Load balance: Do not install new springs and ignore the cause of damage. Make sure the floor below the washing machine is completely level. Uneven floor pressure on the springs and can cause premature damage.

  • Mass substitution: It is highly recommended to replace all springs (the entire set) at the same time even if one appears intact, as old springs lose their elasticity over time, and keeping an old one will cause the balance to become unbalanced again.

  • lubrication: When installing new springs, be sure to use a small amount of grease (if included or recommended in the maintenance manual) at the mounting points to ensure smooth movement and prevent "squeaking" of the metal.
