W10612022 WHIRLPOOL SEAL USA

Technical specifications:

• Compatibility: This product is an original spare part (OEM) of Whirlpooldesigned to fit a wide range of top-loading washing machines (Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore, and Amana models).

• Function: The leak-proof ring (Tub Seal) acts as a vital barrier that prevents water from leaking from the inner wash drum into the bearings (Bearings) and mechanical or electrical components located under the washer.

• material: Made of high quality rubber materials that are resistant to water, chemicals (detergents), and high heat, with an internal metal frame to ensure they stay in place under the pressure of pot movement.

How to use:

• Mechanism of action: They are mounted around the drum spindle at its exit point from the tub. The ring ensures a tight seal that prevents moisture from reaching the transmission assembly (Transmission) or engine.

• Placement: Used as a necessary alternative if you notice:

  • There is water under the washing machine (direct leak).

  • A "groaning" sound or loud noise during the spin cycle (often a sign that water has reached the bearings and damaged their lubrication).

  • Rust or brown spots appear under the spindle due to constant water leakage.
