DE7747 SUPCO DRYER ELEMENT WP3387747 USA

Technical specifications:

• Function: Converting electrical energy into heat to dry clothes.

• Compatibility: compatible with most Whirlpool, Kenmore, Maytag, and KitchenAid dryers (which use the WP3387747 part).

• Design: high-quality heating coil mounted on an insulating ceramic structure, designed to withstand long operating cycles.

• source: American Made (USA).

How to use and maintain

• Mechanism of action: The heater works in coordination with thermal sensors (Thermostats). When heat is needed, current passes through the coil and it glows, and the fan pushes air through it into the drum.

• When will the replacement take place?

  • Not heating: The dryer is spinning but the air out is cold.

  • File corruption: Optical break in coiled wire due to thermal corrosion.

  • Continuity check: A multimeter (Multimeter) is used to measure continuity of current; If the circuit is "open", the heater is damaged.

• Installation tips:

  1. Power outage: Disconnect the dryer from the power supply completely.

  2. Fuse check: Technical advice: do not replace the heater alone. Always check Thermal fuse and Thermometer (High-Limit Thermostat). The fuse is often damaged by overheating caused by a blockage in the ventilation duct, causing the heater to burn out.

  3. cleanliness: Clean the heater box of any accumulated lint (Lint) to prevent burning in the new part.

  4. ventilation: Make sure the external ventilation hose is not clogged; Air blockage is the No. 1 cause of heater damage in dryers.
